IBEC and Europlan will help small businesses with mobility

Denis Ivanov, Chairman of the IBEC Board, and Alexander Mikhailov, General Director of Europlan Leasing Company, signed a Credit Agreement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. In accordance with the document, the Bank will provide Europlan with 2 billion rubles for a period of up to 3 years. The funds will be used to lease vehicles to Russian small and medium-sized businesses.

Europlan is a long-established leader in the Russian auto leasing market, and ranks among the 15 largest auto leasing companies in Europe (according to Expert RA and Leaseurope). The company has been a key participant in subsidy programs run by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation since 2015. Europlan has partnerships with more than 60 car manufacturers and importers, and more than 4,000 car dealerships across Russia. The infrastructure and expertise of Europlan allows to maximize the availability of leasing products.

Denis Ivanov emphasized in his speech that “we, as a development institution, see Europlan as a long-term partner, and together we will be able to support small and medium-sized businesses in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The infrastructure of Europlan and the geography of sales points make auto leasing affordable and simple for any SME. This includes affordable cars, light commercial vehicles, special equipment for small industries, trade industries, services, tourism, public catering, courier services and pharmaceuticals".

“The signing of this loan agreement is a definite milestone in the ongoing cooperation with the International Bank for Economic Co-operation. The loan will contribute to financing the purchase of vehicles and equipment that are very much needed today by Russian businesses, primarily small and medium-sized ones. We see great prospects for further collaboration with the International Bank for Economic Co-operation and perspectives for the entire Russian auto leasing market", – noticed Alexander Mikhailov.
